We use a booking software to make it easy for you to book an initial site visit. During this visit we gather information about the site and discuss your goals for the landscape. The list of these goals is called a Design Program. We include this program in the design proposal. The cost of a design is based on the size of the site and the scope of work required to develop a plan which makes those goals a reality. (flat rate pricing) Approximately one week after our initial meeting we will send you a design proposal. After reviewing and accepting the proposal we can begin your design. Depending on what month of the year you contact us, there is a 1-2 month lead time to begin your design as we have a queue.
-
During our concept design meeting we will share our design concepts with you for feedback. This is a collaborative process. We take the feedback from this meeting and subsequent site visits to refine into the final design.
-
During this meeting we present the final design and you receive all of the documentation discussed in your initial proposal. We generally install most of the designs we do. This adds an extra layer of value and refinement for our clients as we can make field adjustments during the process of installation to optimize the planting even further.

For most designs these documents are included
Planting plan - A plan that shows the location and name of each plant in a design.
Plant community pages - A picture list of each plant community in a design.
Mood board - A page or two of evocative pictures which inspire the design and give us a glimpse of the desired future state of the landscape.
Depending on the project we suggest 3d design. This can greatly aid in visualization of desired outcomes.
